Pine Belt Internet
SIGNALING A NEW ERA OF ACCESSIBILITY
In 2009, Pine Belt Wireless began innovative additions on its cellular infrastructure that would connect communities without fast internet access to the world wide web at unbelievable speeds. At that time, Pine Belt completed installation of "wireless internet" equipment on its existing towers. In November, QuickSpeed Wireless Broadband became available in the communities of Arlington, Butler, Demopolis, Kimbrough, Linden, Mt. Sterling, Myrtlewood, Pennington, Pine Hill, Red Springs, Selma, Summerfield, Thomaston, Toxey, and Valley Grande. QuickSpeed Wireless Broadband gave our customers the ability to access the internet at speeds up to 50 times faster than dial-up. (up to 3.1 Mbps download speeds) At $34.95/month, QuickSpeed Wireless Broadband is a great value for an outstanding service.
In April 2010, Pine Belt rolled out QuickSpeed Wireless Internet to all communities in Dallas, Wilcox, Perry, Marengo, and Choctaw counties. This service provides speeds up to 3 times faster than dial-up (up to 156 Kbps download) and is a great alternative where only dial-up was available before. This $24.95 monthly plan makes QuickSpeed Wireless Internet an excellent choice for many.
