Demopolis High School

Located in west central Alabama, Demopolis High School has a reputation for being an excellent school for both academics and athletics. The staff of over 50 educators and support personnel, strive to provide the best education possible for a student body of over 700 students in grades 9-12. Built in 1993, Demopolis High School offers students a large auditorium, a gymnasium with an 800 person seating capacity, three computer labs, a journalism room with dark room, cafeteria, library, a spacious campus, and multiple atheletic facilities.

Students have the opportunity to participate in numerous activities at DHS with over 12 sports teams and a variety of clubs offered. Demopolis High School is very proud to be home to the 2003 4A State Softball Champions, the 2004 4A State Football Champions, and the 2005 4A State Baseball Champions!

 

Demopolis High School's academic program, extracurricular activities, and community involvement have established a school with a great reputation throughout the state of Alabama. We are proud of the efforts and accomplishments of our students, parents, teachers, administrators, staff and community leaders. A high quality education is one of the most important things that we can provide a child.
