Drivers in Alabama will no longer be allowed to text will they are behind the wheel.

Gov. Robert Bentley signed into law a bill banning the practice of texting while driving. The new law prohibits using wireless devices to write, send, or read a text message, instant message, or email while operating a motor vehicle on Alabama roadways.
