Library Hours of Operation, for the main library (next door to City Hall and across from Hardee's) in Butler, and both branch libraries.
Library History founded in 1954
The Choctaw County Public Library in Butler is open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. The Library is located next door to Butler Town Hall and across the street from Hardee's. The library will be closed the week of Thanksgiving, the week of Christmas, and New Years Eve .
The Gilbertown Branch Library is open Tuesday and Thursday from 2-6 P.M.
The Silas Branch Library is open Monday and Wednesday from 2-6 P.M.
The Library Board meets at 4:00 P.M. on the third Thursday of every other month: January, March, May, July, September, and November. These meetings are held in the main library and are open to the public.
