J. R. Rivas is very involved in the community and hosts KIDZ Outdoors Fundraiser annually at his hunting lodge, Soggy Bottom Lodge. KIDZ Outdoors is an organization that allows special needs children to go on their hunt of a lifetime! All expenses are paid thru fundraisers and donations... last year they raised over $20,000!!! Activities included skeet shooting, retriever demos, sniper demos, fishing, kayaking, property tours, food, live music and much more!!!
He is a very giving member if our community.
